StopTrik replica presented at TIAF 2020 consists of the excellent works participating in both selections in 2018 and 2019 editions. A distinctive feature of all the films presented in the programme is their technical diversity and originality.

StopTrik IFF is a unique international celebration of worldwide stop motion animation. In a period of one-month Slovenian city Maribor and Lodz in Poland become alternative capitals of animation thanks to the festival of high-quality film programmes, spectacular additional events and inventive professional workshops of stop motion technique. Each year the festival presents two competition selections: INTERNATIONALSTOP MOTION COMPETITION composed of the films that approach stop motion techniques in a traditional way, and THE BORDERLANDS COMPETITION presenting experimental films that combine stop motion with other animation techniques as well as live-action.

CURRENTS NEW MEDIA, launched by Parallel Studios in 2010, as an annual, citywide event. The Festival brings together the work of established and emerging New Media artists, from New Mexico, the US and the World, for events showcasing interactive and non-interactive installations, multimedia performances, VR and AR environments, single channel video, animation, experimental documentary, robotics, wearables and 3D printing.

CYFEST is one of the biggest international festivals of media art, founded by a group of independent artists and curators in Saint Petersburg in 2007. CYFEST unites art professionals, programmers, engineers and media activists all over the world, expands territories and possibilities of contemporary art, intertwining it with various disciplines of science and technology. The festival’s main project called ID is shaped around identification as a phenomenon with a wide range of meaning, from a term in psychoanalysis to personal identification documents. CYFEST 12 will familiarize the general public with projects in the fields of new media, VR, robotics, video art, sound art and web-based art.

Kaboom Animation Festival is the one-stop-shop for the latest and greatest in all things animated. Ranging from cutting-edge experimental arthouse to colorful stories for families and kids. From November 9-12, Kaboom Kids will take place across various venues in Utrecht and focus exclusively on animation for curious kids and families. Then, from November 13-17, Kaboom will be at Westergas in Amsterdam, where we will treat our grown-up audience to the animation cream of the animation crop.

The Lumen Prize is an international award and tour of digital art. The prize begins with an annual pay to play juried competition, followed by a touring exhibition of selected entries. Founded by Carla Rapoport in 2012, The Lumen Prize has staged 45 exhibitions in venues across Asia, Europe and the US, as well as seminars, workshops and lectures.  They work with a wide range of partners to create new audiences and opportunities for artists’ work, such as commissions, acquisitions, exhibitions and speaking engagements.Lumen has collaborated with the Computer Arts Society and from 2016 the EVA London Conferences.

The New Media Film Festival is an annual event that celebrates the “interactivity of new technologies and new media and film formats worldwide”. According to the organizers, the festival pays tribute to “Storytelling stories that are created by people of all ages — from all cultures and all media”. 

World Festival of Animated Film Zagreb, also known as Animafest Zagreb, is a film festival entirely dedicated to animated film held annually in Zagreb, Croatia. Initiated by the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA), the event was established in 1972. Animafest is the second oldest animation festival in the World

The Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, established in April 2004, acts a gallery for the display digital artworks in Los Angeles, California, United States. The founder and director of the gallery is Rex Bruce.

Entries to the A' Movie Design Awards are peer reviewed and anonymously judged by a grand expert jury panel of prominent academics, important press members and established professionals. Nominated movie designs are voted on pre-determined evaluation criteria to highlight only the best movie design works.

The International Festival of Animation Arts “Multivision” is an annual event in St.Petersburg, Russia, held in November. The festival includes competition in animation shorts (duration 1 – 30 min) and video installations evaluated by a professional jury.
