Through the observation from cultural codes and eastern costumes, traditional paper-cut art and totem, in the Chinese society, reveal mainstream consciousness toward love, sex and felicities for “reproduction” and “normal pattern” in miniature. With the passage of time, expected role played by women should be loyal and humble.
"The shells of moral pattern" suppress female desire, bodies and soul so they don’t have self-oriented cogitation but serve others as anchor point to move. In hence, facing external changes, they are defenseless within empty shells in the patriarchal environment.
Nowadays, love and sexual connection cannot be limited by “moral pattern” or “legal framework”. Instead of ignoring the phenomenon and humanities under the surface of shell, we should face the gap between “moral surface” and “underlying reality” with open discussion.

OASIS TRILINGUAL COMMUNITY SCHOOL ｜ 2018-2019 SHORT FILM SERIES
Oasis Trilingual Students learn all about digital filmmaking, acting, cinematography, lighting, editing, animation, visual effects, screenwriting, film history, how to make commercials, interview subjects, and other documentary skills. They also create their projects through the filter of Mandarin and Spanish culture and history, to explore filmmaking and immersion language. Students screen their work at the end of the year in an annual Oasis student film festival. And below is the trailer for 2018-2019 short film series which I took part in as art and film teacher and project editor.
Oasis三語學校的學生學習數位電影製作、表演、攝影、燈光、剪輯、動畫、視覺特效、劇本創作、電影史、廣告製作、採訪技巧以及其他紀錄片製作技能。他們也會以漢語和西班牙語文化歷史為視角創作項目，探索電影製作和沈浸式語言學習。學生們會在學年結束時，在一年一度的Oasis學生電影節上放映他們的作品。以下是我參與製作的2018-2019年度短片系列的預告片，我當時擔任藝術與電影教師和專案影片編輯。
Between 2018 - 2019, Oasis Students (TK-8th grade) create four short films: Oasis F.L.O.W, Brain Bank, My Bad Shadow and Oasis Earth Day Special. All these films are based on their original scripts and designed artworks which are created in the film and art classes.
